UDOT, the Utah Department of Transportation, is on guard for the big storm entering the state.
In preparation, UDOT trucks will be filled up with a brine solution to be sprayed on the roads and bridges, rather than just salt. The solution helps prevent snow and ice from sticking on the roads, as opposed to the regular salt which will just blow away in the projected 50 mile-per-hour winds.
Fox says UDOT has prepared 500 plows to move across the state as needed.

Utah weather will turn snowy earlier than expected — likely sometime in the late afternoon Tuesday.
